Newcastle is a community in the municipality of Clarington in Durham Region, Ontario, Canada
Newcastle is located about 80 km east of Toronto, and about 18 km east of Oshawa and Bowmanville on Highway 401. It is also the southern terminus of Highway 35 and Highway 115. It’s bordered by Lake Ontario to the south, Rudell Rd to the west, Remi Ct to the north and Farrow Ave to the east. King Ave E is the main road running through town west to east. And Mill St heading north to south, which also splits off to form Newcastle Dr.
Newcastle has many parks such as Newcastle Dog Park, Walbridge Park, Samuel Wilmot Nature Area and Pearce Farm Park. A handful of schools such as Newcastle Public School and The Pines Senior Public School. The most notable attraction is The Port of Newcastle Marina at 160 Lakebreeze Dr.
