Mississauga’s Port Credit neighbourhood lies near the mouth of the Credit River on the northshore of Lake Ontario in the south-central part of the city. Lakeshore Road and Hurontario Street are its main intersections, about 0.6 km (0.37 mi) east of the river. Its border is the Canadian National Railway in the north, Seneca Avenue in the east and just past Shawnmarr Road in the west. Located along Lakeshore Road, formerly Highway 2, and running northwest to Mississauga City Centre is Hurontario Street, formerly Highway 10.
Trains run through the Port Credit GO Station just north of the intersection of Lakeshore and Hurontario Street. Port Credit is surrounded by Lorne Park to the west, Lake Ontario to the south, Lakeview to the east and Mineola to the north.
