North York’s Bayview Village is an affluent neighbourhood. In 2019, there was a population of 23,760.
On the north, Bayview Village is bordered by Finch Ave E, on the west by Bayview Ave, on the east by Leslie Street, and on the south by Highway 401. North York General Hospital’s grounds are part of the southeast corner of the neighbourhood, east of Leslie Street. Sheppard Avenue is another major east-west road in the neighbourhood.
Bayview village is surrounded by Bayview Woods-Steeles to the North, Don Valley Village and Henry Farm to the East, York Mills to the South and Willowdale to the West. The subway may be accessed at three stations on Sheppard Avenue, Bayview station, Bessarion station, and Leslie station.
Notable places are the Bayview Village Shopping Centre, located at 2901 Bayview Ave in the northeast corner of Sheppard Avenue and Bayview Avenue. The Bayview Village Tennis Club, a private club. There are also free public tennis courts in Bayview Village Park. The North York YMCA can be found at 567 Sheppard Ave E, on the southeast corner of Bayview Avenue and Sheppard Avenue.
As part of Bayview Village, there are several smaller parks including Alamosa Park and Leslie Parks. Running through the centre of Bayview Village lies the East Don Parkland. There are several paths, walkways, and bicycle paths in this green space.
