Downsview is a neighbourhood is located in North York. Its name comes from an old farmstead near the present-day intersection of Wilson Ave and Keele St that was established around 1842. Downsview is bounded by several major roads, Hwy 401 on the South, Hwy 400 to the West, with Sheppard Ave bordering the North and Allen Rd on the East. Keele St is a major north-south thoroughfare in Downsview.
