Humbermede, also known as Emery, is a neighbourhood of North York. The Humber River borders the neighbourhood on the west, Finch Ave W on the north, Hwy 400 to the East, and South by Sheppard Ave W. A major North-South road runs through the neighbourhood called Weston Rd.
Ten parks are located within the neighbourhood, including Bluehaven Park, Habitant Park, and Summerlea Park. Additionally, in the southern portion of the neighbourhood on Weston Rd, there is the Carmine Stefano Community Center. Toronto Public Library – Woodview Park Branch is also located in Humbermede.
In Humbermede, there are nine public schools, four Catholic schools, and two private schools such as Emery Collegiate Institute, Gracedale Public School and St. Jude Catholic School located at 3251 Weston Rd. And with 82 street-level transit stops in the neighbourhood, it’s easy to get around.
