Courtice (/ˈkɜːr.tɪs/) is located in Ontario, Canada, about 60 km (37 mi) east of Toronto, next to Oshawa and just West of Bowmanville in the Municipality of Clarington. Courtice Road (Durham Road 34) is linked to Highway 401 at Interchange 425, giving the community easy access to the highway.
The boundary of Courtice is Pebblestone Rd to the North and Highway 401 on the south. The East by Hancock Rd and the West with Townline Rd. When driving through Courtice you can use Trulls Rd and Prestonvale Rd as the main roads heading North to South. And when heading West to East if you are South of Durham Regional Hwy 2, the main road is Bloor St also knows as Durham Regional Rd 22. But, this will only take you around the outskirts of Courtice. If you take Glenabbey Dr that leads to Sandringham Dr. You can almost cover Courtice in its entirety from West to East and vice versa. If you are North of Durham Regional Hwy 2. You cant take Nash road from West to East or vice versa. If taking the bus you will no problems, Courtice has 101 street-level bus stops
Courtice has Tooley’s Mill Park and Glenabbey Park for outdoor recreation. And South Courtice Arena located at 1595 Prestonvale Rd for ice skating. Plus Pebblestone Golf Course if you like to golf. Try Courtice Flea Market for a different shopping experience. For schools, Courtice North Public School and Courtice Secondary School are just two of 9 public schools. The main post office is located at 2727 Courtice Rd.
