Dunbarton is a smaller community of west-central Pickering. Bordered by Hwy 401 and Kingston Rd in the south. Roughly 200m past Finch Ave in the north. Spruce Hill Rd on the west. Appleview Rd and Fairport Rd in the East. Fairport Rd is the main road running through Dunbarton north-south.
Dunbarton has 8 public schools and 5 Catholic schools. Recreational activities can be enjoyed at Bonita Park and Dunbarton Creek Ravine. Places of worship include Love One Another and St. Mary St. John The Beloved Coptic Orthodox Church at the south end of Dunbarton.
