Bayview Glen is a residential area located at the southern edge of Richmond Hill, adjacent to Richvale to the west. The community is bordered by Highway 7 to the south, Bayview Avenue to the east, Yonge Street to the west, and 16th Avenue to the north.
Bantry Avenue serves as the main thoroughfare that passes through in the middle of the community, traversing east-west; running parallel about 400 meters south is the High Tech Road and passes through the commercial strip between Red Maple Road and Bayview Avenue.
Bayview Glen has parks and green spaces such as White Oak Parkette, Springbrook Park, Red Maple Parkette, Junction Parkette, Grace Lawrence Parkette, Spruce Avenue Park, Dr. James Langstaff Community Park, Discovery Parkette, and Russell Farm Park west on Bantry Avenue. The community is served by St. John Paul II Catholic School located and Red Maple Public School on 155 Red Maple Road, sandwiched between Dr. James Langstaff Community Park and Discovery Parkette. Commercial businesses along Hightech Road are SilverCity Richmond Hill Cinemas, Bed Bath & Beyond, Canadian Tire, Loblaws, and Petro-Canada & Car Wash.
Bayview Glen has one GO train station on the southwestern corner of the community.
