Thornhill York

Thornhill, in Ontario, Canada, is a suburban community within the Regional Municipality of York. Thornhill is located along the northern boundary of Toronto and is located immediately to the south of Richmond Hill. The Thornhill border runs along York Hwy 7 in the north, Steeles Ave W in the south, Highway 404 to the east and Dufferin St on the west. Thornhill is divided between the cities of Vaughan (its western portion) and Markham (its eastern portion), with Yonge Street defining the municipal boundaries. And also marks the center of Thornhill while acting as the main road from north to south.

Thornhill is made up of smaller sections named Beverley Glen, Langstaff and German Mills. Thornhill is surrounded by Richmond Hill to the north, Concord to the west, Milliken to the east and Newtonbrook to the south.

Thornhill has many green spaces such as Huntington Park and German Mills Settlers Park. There is a community center, Thornhill Community Centre, at 7755 Bayview Ave which includes Thornhill Library. Other facilities include Uplands Golf & Ski Club and Within Range Golf Centres Thornhill Markham.
