In Parkdale, the west boundary of the neighbourhood is Roncesvalles Avenue, and the north boundary is CP Rail, which crosses Queen Street and Dundas Street. On the east the border is Dufferin Street from Queen Street south, and Lake Ontario makes up the southern border. Parkdale is small, covering less than 2.50 km².
The main streets run through Parkdale as Queen Street West runs east–west, the primary commercial street of the neighbourhood. King Street West, running east–west, Dufferin Street, running north–south, Lansdowne Avenue, running north–south and Jameson Avenue, running north–south.
Parks include West Lodge Park, Masaryk Park and Close Springhurst Parkette. Schools include Parkdale Junior and Senior Public School plus St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
Toronto Fire Station 426 is located in Parkdale at 140 Lansdowne Ave. Places of worship include Bonar-Parkdale Presbyterian Church and First International Baptist located at 1303 Queen St W. Gardiner Expy runs through Pardale but there is no exit within Parkdale.
